This album marks a big departure from earlier more alt rock soundings Coldplay. It is good for those whom enjoy disco music for me not so much. This album has less relevance than earlier Coldplay albums had. Songs such as Lost and Cemeteries of London sound rushed and lack flow. Songs such as Viva La Vida and Violet Hill are great for steady build up and actual relevance. Overall like 2.5 but not a 3 for lack of flow and poor song writing.

This is amazing! Here are some reviews of the songs Life In Technicolor: A very great intro to the whole album, and I like how it just fades into Cemeteries of London Cemeteries of London: This song has a very spooky vibe, when it started off from Life In Technicolor’s cheerful vibe. Opposites attract! Lost!: Really like this one, it should be performed in concerts still. 42: I love the start, it is a beautiful message, but the end gets really weird as it fades into “You thought you might be a ghost, you didn’t get to heaven but you made it close.” But overall, it is great, I catch myself singing it while doing homework. Lovers in Japan: Yes! Love this one too! I want this to be performed in concerts more. It is very amazing, and I wish you can buy the music video on iTunes. Oh well, I will use your website. Reign of Love (Hidden Track): I like how this has a calm vibe after listening to Lovers in Japan’s upbeat vibe. Yes: All I can say is... YES! I LOVE THIS SONG! Chinese Sleep Chant (Hidden Track): Very amazing as well! Viva la Vida: I love this one, and it is probably the most popular song on the album, and that works for me, even though I want people to appreciate the other amazing songs on this album. Violet Hill: “If you love this, won’t you let me know...” I DO! Strawberry Swing: Nice! A very nice song to use for things like dates and weddings. Death and All His Friends: I love that song! Please perform that at concerts more! The Escapist (Hidden Track): Amazing song! A great finish to the whole album.

The album that propelled Coldplay into touring history. And who would have thought a group could come out with an even more accomplished album? Then Mylo Xyloto comes out! Another must-have Coldplay is the very best alternative music group of 21st Century

I am blessed to be able to live in a time where heaven can be in the form of an album; and this is it! Viva La Vida gives me comfort in such a violent world. I look around at all these other music artists going haywire, but I'm so lucky I'm a Coldplay fan because they have always had such good music they put out with their heart.

Fantastic album. It is incredibly amazing. I can listen to the whole thing without skipping a song like I can most of their albums. The guitars are amazing and the drums and his voice. Favorites include death and all his friends, violet hill, and viva la vida. Death and all his friends is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I listen to it all the time. This album is absolutely amazing and I love it so much.
